A New Era of Fleet Performance

Range electrifies your trailers to reduce fuel consumption, improve safety, and electrify refrigeration — while keeping the same equipment and schedule.

Why Range Energy

Cut Fuel and Maintenance Costs

Range reduces fuel consumption by up to ~40% and eliminates diesel use from refrigerated units.

Why Range Energy

Fits Your Operations

Installs in hours on existing tractors and trailers. Charging happens during normal dwell times, so fleets can electrify without changing routes or schedules.

Why Range Energy

Safer, Better Driving

Trailer traction control improves stability and helps reduce risk, while electric refrigeration minimizes noise and vibration.

Why Range Energy

Cold Chain Electrification

Range enables 100% electric refrigeration and lower-emission trucking with clear economic returns.

All Day Power

Up to 300 kWh of onboard energy powers refrigeration, liftgates, and other trailer systems while reducing fuel use. The system also provides propulsion assistance for improved merging, braking, and stability — while allowing normal towing even if the battery is depleted.

Trusted by Fleets and Drivers

"We can run all our refrigeration without running diesel, so further reducing our carbon footprint."

Jordan Mahrt
Owner – Petaluma Egg Farm

“It was almost instant power. You’re taking off quicker and getting up to speed faster. I was route-wise probably 20-30 minutes faster drive time.”

Rick Sims
Driver – UNFI

"It was as if I was driving bobtail...the gas mileage, what normally is eight something, maybe nine. Got up to 15."

Sherry Stittiam
Driver – DB Schenker

“You don’t have to do a lot of special things to operate with it…it’s almost just like a regular trailer”

Scott Naylor
Sr. Director, Transportation – UNFI

Three steps to electrification

Install the eTrailer System under your trailer. The kit comprises a high-voltage battery, an electrified axle (e-axle), and an advanced sensor suite that can be installed onto existing trailers in just a few hours.

Get on the road and go. Hitch up and go with any tractor – diesel, EV, hydrogen. No modification or new connections are needed.

FAQs

How much does the system cost?

The better question is what it costs not to electrify. We’ll show you both numbers — reach out for a fleet analysis.

When can I take delivery?

First deliveries: late 2026. Volume deliveries: 2027. We’re building the order book now — where does your fleet fit?

How does the system impact payload?

Most trailers equipped with our eTrailer system maintain a payload capacity of at least 36,000 lbs, suitable for the majority of fleet operations. We can work with you to optimize the system for your specific payload requirements.

Which trailers is the system compatible with?

Most 33 to 53 foot trailers with tandem air-ride suspension bogies are compatible with the Range eTrailer system.

How often do I need to charge the eTrailer system?

Charging fits into your existing workflow — overnight at the yard or during normal trailer dwell time. No new stops, no schedule changes.

How does the system install on my trailer?

Easier than it sounds. We swap the trailer axle and attach the energy module underneath using existing trailer attachment points — nothing inside the trailer is touched. Most installs are complete within a few hours by our certified installers.
